German digitisation based on the Danish model: Bavarian delegation trip to Copenhagen with Colibo

As part of the official digitisation partnership between Bavaria and Denmark, Colibo participated in a delegation trip arranged by the Bavarian State Ministry to Copenhagen. The trip included representatives from all Bavarian ministries to experience Denmark's role as the world's most digitised state – and to investigate which solutions can pave the way for digitisation in the Bavarian public sector. The visit was coordinated and facilitated by the Royal Danish Embassy in Munich.

Colibo shows Danish-German best practices

As a Danish provider of a modern intranet platform, Colibo demonstrated how digital work, collaboration across locations and the transition to a "New Work" culture are already a reality today in both Danish and German organisations. The participants also gained insights directly from the Danish Defence, who shared their experiences with Colibo's platform – a concrete example of how even organisations with high demands for data security and compliance can succeed with digital transformation.
The focus was particularly on user-friendliness and flexible integration of existing IT systems. The central consolidation of internal communication, knowledge sharing and document management into one platform also provided great inspiration.

Denmark & Bavaria: Digital partners for the future

The goal of the partnership between Bavaria and Denmark is to promote digitisation in Germany's public sector – with Denmark as a model. Denmark is globally regarded as the most digitised public system, and Bavaria is now focusing on knowledge sharing and closer cooperation.

The Bavarian delegation was clearly impressed by the digital maturity of the Danish authorities and organisations, which for years have focused on scalable, user-friendly software solutions that create real value in everyday life.
