Situation
A medium-sized municipality with over 3,000
employees distributed across the town hall, schools, day-care institutions, and technical administration.
Many employees do not work at a computer, including childcare workers, social and healthcare assistants, etc. The municipality wants to strengthen internal communication so that all employees feel included, informed, and part of the community – regardless of their role or location.
Challenge
The municipality's intranet is built in SharePoint and functioned mostly as a document archive. It was difficult to navigate, required PC access and is rarely used by employees without a fixed desk. Communication was scattered across emails, noticeboards and Teams.
Result
Colibo was implemented as the municipality’s new intranet. It brought together news, documents and
employee information in one place – accessible via mobile, tablet and PC.
